Bit of a dissapointing experience unfortunately. Service took ages, half an hour to get desserts out. Normally this would have been tolerated, but we were there at 8.30, and the restaurant was half empty. Pizzas bases were soggy and a little undercooked. A bit of a shame really.

I booked a table for six people for Friday night. What a fantastic meal, everyone had something different and we all agreed we couldn't fault anything with the meals. Beautifully presented, tasty and plenty of it, My husband came away full, something that isn't always easy to achieve. I had the beef salad, really really good, and the arancini corn balls for starter were devine. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful. We had some of the group who weren't able to join us until later, but the staff were happy to let us take our time. We will certainly be back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Furnace is a very nice place to go out to. The food is reasonably priced and tastes great.

I have been twice and the staff are a delight, and it's not too loud.

Great service and a brilliant meal. They have an fine selection of wines with a very nice Marlborough Pinot Gris. The calamari was soft and melted in the mouth. While the souse vide scotch fillet was delightfull. The plum creme brulle desert was a flavour burst. The restaurant also had great atmosphere and very comfortable seating. If you have a wheelchair ask for side door access when you book.

Lovely lunch here today have been coming for years. Sad to learn today that your restaurant is no longer infant/toddler friendly with no high chairs or change tables anymore. Will not be returning. Please update this onto your website homepage so parents are aware.

One of the best restaurants I've eaten in. The food is amazing. I Highly recommend the lamb rump and the sous-vide beef rump. We Visited Hamilton for 5 days and ate here twice. Both times we couldn't fault a thing. Great food friendly service, nice wines and reasonable prices. We will be back!

Menu looked amazing, the experience, Average at best. Asked for dairy free so mash was swapped which was fine but not until the meal arrived did they say that one third of the portk trio was left out due to butter (strange way to do pulled pork, but thats an aside) The salad that replaced the mash would have been better if not for the flavor killing addition of cucumber in large amounts.
My colleague was also underwhelmed by what was essentially chicken breast and chunky wedges, but at least the portion side was good.
Might be ok if you like looks over quality but not somewhere ill be rushing back to.

The recent renovation looks good (although I'm not 100% sure about the colour scheme) - it definitely benefits from being a dedicated restaurant rather than a part-time nightclub. They've really stepped up the food a notch too, the meals were excellent. Pleasant, quick and attentive service. Recommended.

If you like meat then this is a good restaurant; otherwise, I think their meals lack some finesse. As a vegetarian you might find it rather difficult to pick something from the menu. My beef cheek was delicious while my partner had some chicken tasting a bit dry. In the end we thought we had better meals for less money (their prices are rather high). The interior is quite nice and the staff is quick and friendly. There is also enough space between the tables so it does not feel cramped, even as more and more people arrived. Overall, I don't think we will eat there again in the near future.
