Good stuff available at reasonable price. Good staff.
Awful. Food on shelves was past its sell-by date. Foolishly I didn't read the label on my fresh fish until I started cooking. Customer service was very poor. I asked the cashier to keep upright the bottle-conditioned beer I bought so the sediment wouldn't get mixed with the beer and she got all defensive and didn't listen. She said she was going to keep them upright (ie, once she had filled the bag, which lay horizontally on the counter). I guess she thought I wanted merely to carry them upright and stopped hearing what I was saying about sediment.
If there is an alternative, I won't shop at Four Square again.
Good all round store. Easy to shop at. Good selection/variety. Realistic pricing. Bright and clean.
One of only 2 supermarket available in te anau(as of august 2017).staff is friendly, establishment is clean.selection for brands is limited But you should be able to find most things
Overcharged me for a pie. Clearly stated 1.50 on pie, charged me 3.50
They were well stocked and they were very helpful to us tpurists when they simply did not need to be. Much appreciated. Thankyou
Good local supermarket that opens late to stock before a trek!
Handy convenience store, good prices
Decent enough place, bit pricy though.
It's very central and has a great range of goods although many things are cheaper at fresh choice which is bigger but also a bit further away.
Four Square is an iconic New Zealand small supermarket brand. Friendly, helpful, local. The free range eggs are cheaper here than the bigger Fresh Choice supermarket.
