Waitress is really hot, i bet her booty taste sweet and sour 🤑🤑🤑🤑
Can't have more authentic HK experience than an owner that acts like she wants to spit in your face everytime you try to make an order. Food is good tho.
Honestly best Cantonese style food. If you love Hong Kong food, you must go here! I drive all the way from Mt Roskill for this place. 100% Legit
Nice place for Hong Kong Cantonese style food. Cheap and tasty meals mostly under $15. They offer both soup noodles as well as stir fried ones and do have options for rice and rice noodles. They also do main dishes. Service is fairly Asian so some people may find them rude, particularly during busy times. Otherwise service is alright.
Cheap, good value comfort food!
A very extensive menu. Most meals between $14 -$22. Very fast service . Tasty and not too much salt. Very popular so a little noisy. My seafood combination came with broccoli as I was asked if I preferred that or Chinese vegetables . It was very healthy and I took some home as the sizes are very generous.
This is one of my favourite places for casual asian style dining. I have visited the place at least 30 times and here is hopefully a constructive review.
The location is okay, slightly far for those travelling from different parts of Auckland. It is easy to find and has an adjacent carpark. The carpark gets quite busy during evening meal times but there are plenty of off street parks.
The environment is clean and tidy, but very casual. Jandals and shorts would be no problem. The staff often appears somewhat indifferent and expressionless - I dont really think they are rude, they just seem somewhat bored of the job and cannot be bothered to try harder.
The menu is bilingual, and the main lady who runs the place has okay english/mandarin. Some of the staff does not speak anything other than Cantonese so communication can sometimes be difficult.
Now, food! They have a very good range on the menu from noodle soups, congees to dishes you can share. No MSG in their food! (thats the best thing about this place). There are also a small range of cold/hot drinks and snacks (hongkong style sandwiches/french toast). Their food is not complicated and fancy, so you dont feel bloated and greasy afterwards. The price is fair.
Overall, its a good place to enjoy simple casual hong kong style food. If you dont expect to be treated like the queen and not after lobster meals definitely give it a try.
Visited this a couple of times . Generous proportions. The Satay Beef and Black pepper pork were okay. Wasn't very busy for a Saturday night. The food, service and ambiance were all pretty average. With so many other options , I don't think we'll be returning here in a hurry.
