Very good collection of heritage machinery and buildings. I love the trains and trams. I do think $40 is too expensive for two adults and a two children.

A bit like Auckland's Motat, Ferrymead has some interesting tastes of yesteryear but like Motat the facts that it is run by volunteers and funded largely by donations limits the variety and quality of Ferrymead. I really enjoyed visiting Ferrymead.

Attended a family wedding here and it is a fantastic venue. The church is super cute and transportation via the tram and our driver 'Peanut' fab. Well worth a visit.

We saw entry was half price during winter so we took the family. Rod the trains, trams and trolley busses, plus got a couple of coffees and only spent $44. So good!

Waste of money, I went in with my family only to find nothing open inside, We especially wanted to see the fire engine for my son, i told the lady this and she said that it would be open . So we paid the $20 each only to find it was closed, the only thing going was the tram. I was offered a ticket to come back the next day but we were going back home that day.

Ferrymead Heritage Park provides a full day of exploration, learning and entertainment. There is so much to explore and see. I highly recommended visiting on a Steam day to take a few rides on the steam train. If you're a local visitor the annual family pass is an amazing deal.
