Great spot for coffee and light food. Always clean, neat and tidy with very friendly staff. Moderately priced with a wide range of edibles of good quality.

And so to Euro Deli, an establishment that struggles to live up to either half of its name. I found this cafe in that odd little clutch of shops - a Korean dairy, a posh hi-fi place, a good art supplies store, a hospice shop - that overlook Albany's big Westfield mall. Geographically, it's a nice spot for a flat white while you wait for your appearance at the neighbouring North Shore District Court.
I ordered the halloumi, spinach, and tomato tart with a mocha on my visit. The tart was a tad bland and heated irregularly, with a lukewarm core surrounded by a LAVA HOT outer crust. It was served with some token salad and perhaps sweet chili sauce? Hm. The mocha was not all that, either, but by Albany standards it was stellar (given that nearby competitors include Muffin Break and Coffee Club). The fork I was given came with some free old, dried-up cilantro baked on to it. Its replacement was also dirty. A new dishwasher may be required.
Yet it was not all bad. I had a chair. And a table. And there was cheerful, fast service, which shouldn't be overlooked, and its a spacious joint that would be good for families and strollers. A solid two out of five.response / report this review -

Love the food in this place, which is why I travel 3km to get treat myself for lunch once a week. However, this the third time I have got back to work and opened the bag and they have given me something different from what I asked for Worth making the trip in future??
