  For the price I'd choose elsewhere. Room was okay but it's very dated and facilities weren't great. Didn't expect free today in the morning Wich was at least nice. Wifi was unreliable

  People is nice,however this hostel owner is a
  dishonest person. When We got there, we checked the detail about the bookjng with employer, so the employer helped us to changed to another room and checked in and paid the cash. This hostel still charged the money for that original room we did not live. I told to hostel owner, but the owner said we didn't check the detail about the booking, so thay didn't know we are the same people who change the room, that's unreasonable. If we didn't check the detail, how can they change the room for us. So no matter what the owner said, I don't believe. That's just an excuse for they do not want to return the money.

  Really cute hostel with lovely staff. Free breakfast in the morning and free soup in the evening. The rooms are pretty okay, they even have their own toilet and shower, but there is no lock on the door. You have to use the facilities outside of your room if you want to lock them. But it's still a really nice place. So colorful!

  Free breakfast (toast and jam) and soup in the evening. Friendly service. No sink at the toilets. A bit too colourful for me.

  In greymouth I have been in 3 different motel/hotel : Breeze motel, royal hotel an the duke backpacker and I totally recommend you the last one. I stayed few nights there and I never had any problems. If you need anything, they will be there for you, they care about you and your journey and what you would like to do. It's an awesome place to spend some nights and time ! Thank you
