We were looking for a warm pub like place to eat out and found Down the road. The service here is great and the food is delicious. Definitely recomend this bar to others to eat out

When for dinner here.had a good meal,. Large portion,. Fresh. Service was good all round. Has tropical fish tanks to look at which also entertains little people. Full bar and pool tables for the adults. Outdoor seating although scenery inst spectacular unless you like looking at town surrounding which was very quiet when we went at 7pm

We were recommended to go here, but the whole experience was quite flat. We usually share a main meal when we eat out as we can always order more if we're still hungry. The staff advised us that the meals were big!, But in reality they aren't, very disappointed. Bar patrons sit, drink and stare at you. It's a pub trying to be a restaurant. Won't be rushing back or recommending it.

Great food, catered to my allergies of dairy, egg and gluten. Waitor was execeptual and not only well educated on how to customize my meal but was very polite and helpful. Thanks for a great meal out in the Bay!

Great place to have a drink or lunch. Sport is always on in the background, so if you mind, go somewhere else. Friendly staff. Pool table.

Great food and service from Rachel.Fish and chips were light and fluffy and the corn and bacon fritters were yummy as well.Kids and wife polished off everything.Prices were a lot cheaper than other up market places near by so go here have a wine and some yummy heart warming food and chill the lunch break away.Thanks for a super lunch today Rachel from Dave x🍔🍔
