WOW! Our first ever dealings on line with Danske Mobler, always thought it was a bit expensive!
What a surprise! Fantastic service, only top quality products at what we thought were at a reasonable price in comparison to others
Web site easy to follow
Order was easy to place
Payment no problems
Delivery service using thier own truck and driver with assistant was on time and within an acceptable time frame
We would have no hesitation to recommend DANSKE MOBLER to any discerning furniture purchaser

Put an item on hold. Went back 2 days later with a van to collect it - they had sold it. Sorry they said, we have more in factory. Had to pay extra for delivery. Called again 2 days later.. sorry they said - can’t find the ones in factory… waiting on refund. Waste of my time.

Very poor purchasing experience. I ordered a TV unit in mid December 2021 and was told it was going to be delivered in Feb 22. Didn't hear from them ever since, and when I called in Jan 22 to keep tabs on progress, they told me it was never realistic to expect it in Feb 22. Instead they told me it will be June 22.
Then I called in March 22, and they told me that delivery will be next Tuesday. I asked why they did not proactively tell me about the delivery date. I would never have found out if I hadn't called them. They said that's not their process and will only inform the customer one day before delivery date. That's such poor processes and service. Your customers actually have jobs that they have to go to, so one day's notice is very disappointing.
I then asked to be transferred to the manager and then it went to another line which disconnected after a few rings. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option.
Danske Mobler pitches itself as a quality furniture store that aims at the more expensive end of the market. However, the service is such that it's not different from buying from a low end store. A customer should not be the one that is actively chasing you. You should be proactively informing the customer.response / report this review -

1/ No deliveries on Saturday (so you have to take time off work to receive deliveries and actually purchase from this company if you are a working professional). Every other furniture company offers weekend deliveries.
2/No credit card facility without a surcharge, so they require a bank transfer or EFTPOS only unless you want to be stung with a fee (seriously, in 2021?!). No other store or major competitor does this.
3/ Item ordered not in stock despite reassurance from sales staff that it was available and in Auckland, and just needed to be unloaded from the container. Turns out there is a backlog of 16 containers to unload before this, and I still have not heard when my item is expected to be arriving. Thank god I refused to pay a deposit in advance, as they were adamant it would be delivered imminently in order to secure the sale, which was clearly not the case.

Thank you but the delay has resulted in me finding the furniture elsewhere and having it delivered the next day on a Sunday.
If you indeed do Saturday deliveries, why do all your staff say you only do weekday deliveries?
Does it need an escalation to the manager and a negative google review each time to have a Saturday delivery offered??response / report this review -

Best place in Auckland to peruse and buy furniture - the staff are professional without being intrusive. Some furniture is expensive but there are bargains and their stressless chairs are heavenly

Well stocked showroom with high quality furniture on show. Plenty of variety and styles to choose from. The service from the floor sale staff was helpful but not intrusive. The cost is moderate to expensive, no bargain basement items here. I would recommend this to any discerning furniture buyer who is looking for quality furniture at reasonable cost.

Walked around looking for a sofa and never got approached by any of the 12 staff that I saw. I took about 20 minutes and then left and bought the sofa at Harvey Normans. Absolutly no customer service at all
