Fantastic place where you can view yellow eye penguins and sea lions. Especially you can swim with Hector dolphin!

Watch the ocean carefully and you may also spot the rare Hectors Dolphin who inhabit this bay

Petrified forest (fossilised stumps and trunks), endangered yellow eyed penguins and sea lions all (potentially) on show. Can get busy leading up to dusk when people are waiting for the penguins to appear

Incredible fossilized forest! So much energy here. The surf pounds against the rock with such power. Visit in low tide

fantastic beach! You can walk two hours on the same beach (pure sand) easily with nice views to the rocks. Now and then dolphins are passing by and riding some waves - amazing place. Besides a surfing class there was nobody! else on the beach, very peaceful!

Beautiful views with waves breaking on the cliffs and a chance to see penguins, sea lions and Hector Dolphins. There's a petrified forest (just stumps, not trees) at the ocean front. You can spend the night at Curio Bay Holiday Park but there are also a hostel and some bed & breakfasts.
