A typical Countdown with accompanying dour staff who mostly look like they wish they were elsewhere. prices are moderate as is the selection of goods. fresh goods are a bit average but passable. not a big range of more unusual foods. overall store is tidy and presentable, not looking too tired yet.

Typical Countdown store, nothing spectacularly good or bad. It felt clean, busy as most supermarkets are and a little crammed with narrow isles. The checkout operator was very friendly

Good selection of products and brands, enticing deli. Three options on checkouts, standard, under 12 items and self service. Helpful staff.

Got a few items on sale, good discounts. Want to note their deli staff- always polite and friendly, make you feel very welcomed. In contrast check out area is usually different experience. Busy, 2-3 staff members just chatting to each other instead of opening another check out point.

Great supermarket. Excellent vegan foods, chilled & frozen options. Well priced foods. Friendly & helpful staff. Great OneCard specials & AA Petrol savings partnership with BP.

This countdown has not been modernised like a lot of the others and also sits in a faorly bad area of town it seems. Wouldnt go there again

I like it for some deals but you need to double check that the price charged correctly matches the advertised /ticketed price. Usually understaffed.

The goods are more various than other supermarkets. There are frequent promotions so the price is always reasonable. The self-checkout machines are relatively few. Sometimes had to wait long.
