Totally agree with Sonia, is the management not reading these reviews or does it need the health department to go in. Hello! Hygiene for children and also food. It is the most dirtiest place and it's for children.

Took my 4yr old son there today and he was violently beaten by another child, who thought it was okay to pull his hair from behind and start punching my son's face! When I confronted the mother about the child, she became verbally abusive and we got into a heated arguement. When I requested assistance from the staff member, we found out she was there alone. No other staff members, no manager! What if the argument had turned violent or a child was seriously injured. She was not equipped (or old enough) to deal with such a scenario. I wouldn't recommend chipmunk manukau. Too many feral children with parents who think it's a free baby sitting service, while they play on their phone!!!! Needs more staff and an upgrade!

I dont understand how this place is still running? Its filthy and smells like piss n poo.. Customer service doesn't happen here.. straight take the money and leave you there like an idiot..

This place is gross! Really smells like urine and poo. Never going back again. Would never recommend to others. Kids will get sick from all the germs. At least clean the place. !!

Experience not good as every time i go to chipmunks there are big children in the preschool area, theres not enough staff to patrol this or be on the counter at all times as we have to wait at the counter for at least 5mins before getting served to get in, not enough chairs to sit around tables, staff are friendly and helpful. Big kids climbing over the merry go round when little kids on it. Wall in foyer area broken hidden by a board, toilet areas not always clean

Went this morning and was horrified by the uncleaned space for 1-4 years old playground. There were bits of food, dust and other things on the floor and you could see it hadn't been vacuumed for a while.
I had to ask the staff member to please vacuum the area because my little girl was crawling everywhere and I just didn't want her to choke on anything. She looked at me like I was a mad person!
I wiped down everything before my little girl even touched it! Stayed for a short time then left feeling dirty.
Never going back and would not recommend this place to anyone I know.response / report this review -

This is the most DISGUSTING, UNHYGIENIC place I've ever taken my child too! Not only is it SMELLY but the equipment I don't even think gets cleaned at all probably from the day it opened! If you look at the playground it has bird droppings on it! Equipment is ripped! And yet I have to pay FULL price for my child to play on this type of equipment! The staff is so UNPROFESSIONAL and for a place that deals with kids the staff is not understanding of a child's behaviour! In fact my child went in there fine and then that evening he had a tummy bug! And for that reason (I believed he picked up a bug from there)I HAVE NEVER TAKEN HIM BACK THERE!
