Great staff good food
Great place! Beautiful room with hot plates and microwave and a awesome in room spa.
If you're looking for a place with a camper van or tent, do not stay here. This is the biggest waste of money I've ever spent. It was $50 for 1 night stay in what was basically a large car park with power. There was only 1 shower and 1 toilet and 1 combined shower/toilet for each gender block, so if it's busy I have no idea how you'd deal with waiting around for so long. If you don't desperately need power, go freedom camping at Evans Bay Marina car park, as it's exactly the same except no shower and no power. For $50 a stay, it's not worth it, and I have no idea how they think they can get away with charging this amount.
Friendly helpful staff, clean facilities, easy to catch public transport into the city.
Chose this place for its location and proximity to the ferry. Owners understand that many guests are there because of this and handily provides directions to the terminals upon check in. Clean bathrooms, and comfortable kitchen is opened 24/7. Laundry available, but the tumble dryer could be more powerful. Good stay overall, heavily recommended 👍
Lovely place with good service. Very handy to the ferry.
Clean, easy access. Great food in-house.
Used the charging station for my camper van. Facility kitchen and bathroom were clean and decent.
Clean and tidy. Close to bus stop. Good parking for campervans also.
Location was close to town for a tourist park, sites were really close together and the shower had a time that was OUTSIDE of the bathroom. After 8 minutes, it went ice cold. Kitchen wasn't very big and others were complaining that the dryer didn't work. Only okay for a quick stop over.
i forget my shoes there..very nice service by the way
Very nice service and got really lucky with campervan placement!
Nice facilities and good distance from the city. The entrance is at a very dangerous location as it is right next to the highway exit ramp.
I am not sure I would call it 4 star (if you're looking for extreme modern but it was very comfy/homey) and I really liked the place for $138/night (queen, kitchen, bathroom). I thought it was clean and the staff were wonderful. We stayed 2 nights and it was comfy. I thought it was thoughtful too of the staff to even come in and clean the 2 personal mugs we brought with. (the motel does provide 2 cutlery, cups etc but I like bringing our own). I was happy that the room was warm too after spending much of the day in the rain!
The location was convenient and it was easy/quick drive to Wellington.
We did think the motel's restaurant prices were a bit high and so went up the street to the New World Plaza.
We definitely will stay there again when we do our next road trip that way. I will not be shy about promoting this place to friends.
