  It's now shut! Was so disappointed to drive all the way out here to come in after seeing it was open and it's closed and has a for sale sign outside.

  The place needs a bit tidy up and revamp. It might be a cool place back in the days but things need to changed with the time. The tour was good though.

  the road signs from north are just about non exsistent to candyland,after getting lost we finally got there .HOW DISSAPOINTING !!!!!, the palce was so old and jaded, toilets were out of order, a cafe with no food in it ,christmas decorations still up. and a shop with next to no product on the shelves. the show was way over priced at $15 for adults and $10 for children and only one show a day at 10.30 am ( its the holidays) it was such a let down, to think i drove from whangaparaoa to hamilton for that!! what a waste of time.

  Candy was nice but not a big selection. Was incredibly dark, and took ages for anybody to serve us at the till. Very run down looking place, inside and out.
