I purchased a voucher off treatme for a warrant and service at CV Specialists. My car is relatively new and low kms. They failed my warrant on the basis that there was "play" in the steering rack and the brake rotors "appeared" to be worn. They quoted me close to $1,200.00 to fix this. I had not noticed any problems with these at all so I took my car to a mechanic that was recommended to me by a family friend as being honest and genuine. They told me that there was nothing wrong with my car and warranted it.

Terrible service took over a week to do two cv joints then they broke a wheel sensor. The price was more than they quoted and now just a year later the cv boot needs replacement they must have used cheap parts.

Bought a premium voucher to get my family van serviced. Failed WOF because there were funny noise suggesting both front wheel bearings need to be replaced. Quoted nearly $1000. In addition, they did wheel alignment and the van was driving to the left. Asked to redo the alignment and they reluctantly did it saying when the wheel bearing was repaired the wheel alignment needs to be done again, so no point doing it. Because it is a family van with young children on it, and feeling there was a pressure tactic going on, I took the car to to AA, doing a full check and service. Passed WOF, no issue found at all. But of course going to AA comes at a cost.

I gave a two stars because another family car was serviced there as well and they seemed to have done a good job.

Very frustrated, poor service! Quoted us just nearly $600 end up paying $1400+. Was told only 4 hours was the repair but it took 8 days for us to get the car back without any advised and I have to chase them for the updates of the car. The lady told me that they couldn't do anything if there's no available parts or mechanics but hey, even just a courtesy call to the owner would do instead of just let us wonder what's going on with the repair. Also, they lend us a loan car, accidentally broke the window glass (the small triangle shaped on the passenger side) charged us $230 (and add we have to be thankful they didn't charged us $500 for such damaged because that's what we signed and aggreed) for a very small glass without checking the damaged first and don't want us to do our own repair to the glass repair shop. If they stick to their given time then might not end up paying $230 just for the window glass.Don't even think of going there! Ripped off!
