Amazing lake view! Near the 5 min walk to the center! Clean bathroom, staff cleans the rooom everyday.
There's a tv area for people to hang out and common kitchen.
Excellent staff service. Fiona is very accommodating and has great recos on tours etc. Over-all, this is very great value for money!

Been to a lot of hostels in qt, this is definitely my favorite! Great Lake view, big rooms with big windows, comfortable beds, clean and with ensuite. You get more for your money than in the other hostels!

Close to the city center. Excellent wifi. Room was comfortable. It was a tad loud until midnight bc of how the common room is situated. Kitchen is very small & basic. Guests couldn't do laundry until 1:30p which was inconvenient. I'd stay again for a short visit.

Beautiful and clean hostel. Only a short walk from the city centre and directly at the lake. The staff helps you with bookings and you can get great discounts for activities.

Its not so much this place was bad, it was more mediocre. There was no towels supplied, the rooms were hot and uncomfortable, the fans didn't work, the kitchen was small and the staff were not friendly. I am not sure why this place has nearly 5 star, i think it should be bout a 2-3 star. Hostels that shine above the rest should be the only ones to receive high ratings.

Stayed here in January, went hiking and got drenched through. Female staff member was reluctant to help me find a safe place to store my equipment. Staff member was bitter when I asked nicely to quickly use the kitchen before 12pm close. No netflix, no towels, I would expect a lower rate for such a dump. Overrated hostel.
