The food was good. They have an extensive menu. Our server was quick and friendly. We sat inside but the views are gorgeous. Definitely have the brownie. Delicious and light.

Nice food & environment & beautiful ocean view. Price is reasonable too. We really enjoyed our lunch there when the beach is only 10 meter away.

The location is amazing - can’t beat being by the water! Cheerful and helpful staff. Very diverse menu. Have tried several different meals and all were a decent size, good for sharing, and none of them disappointing. Comfortable seating indoors and outdoors. Decent coffee as well if you are walking past and want to get a takeaway.

Yummy food & great view out to sea. We came in a group of 8 and almost got turned away as no group tables but lots 4person ones free. Suggested pushing tables together. Not sure why staff were hesitant to do this but did eventually. Anyway we had a great time. Also kids playground nearby so they can go and play while waiting for food to come out

Great diverse menu and the food was fantastic. You couldn't pick a better setting right on the waterfront. The staff were both cheerful and knowledgeable and the prices were very reasonable. We couldn't fault it and will make sure we visit again soon.

5 STAR RATING!!!

I have visted many restaraunts in the world and this would be one of the BEST!

Today my family and i came for breakfast/lunch! From the moment we walked through the door we got BRILLIANT service. After we ordered my son 'who wasn't feeling very well' spewed all over the table. Instead of acting all grosed out the staff helped us clean it up and even washed my sons clothes. They also offered him a blanket and to lie down on the couch while we ate.

The food is literally to die for!!!! My steak was so juicy and DELICIOUS!!! Everything about my meal and all the other meals we got were 5 STAR!!!!

I can't thank the staff at Boardwalk Beach restaurant enough for making a horrible and embarrassing situation so much easier to deal with. I will definitely be back.

Blue Cod Main Meal was devine!
Visited them while on my morning walk to view what table I wanted to reserve but got there that night and someone else was in our table. Not impressed 😔

Great setting right on the beach front. Plenty of tables inside and a big area outside for those who don't mind the change of weather. Thankfully they do offer blankets for those who feel the cold!
Their seafood platters are enormous and delicious. Well worth the visit and such friendly staff. We visited from Auckland and we will certainly be back. Thank you Boardwalk management and staff, keep up the awesome work.

Myself and my family which included 6 adults and 5 children have regularly eaten here as the kids meals are very well priced and great potion sizes but this afternoon we experienced the most rude waitress. She had no time for the children, attitude was appalling and general demeanour poor.

The table was not cleared before desserts were brought out for the children so I had to clear the plates to another table - to which the waitress eventually cleared by slamming the plates around indicating she was not happy with the plates being moved to other tables.

Normally I would complain directly to the staff member but on this occasion i did not want to let someone else's bad attitude interrupt with the children having a good time.

Unfortunately when we went to settle up I asked to speak to the manager to pass on my disappointment with the staff member but amazingly it turned out the waitress was the manager on duty!! All I could do was laugh at how ridiculous this was 😝

I will never visit this place again and would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy!!
