Great place right across the road from the Hokitika Beach, and in the other direction cross the road and you are in Hokitika township. Great meals, good sized rooms and great service. Lots of parking for guests.

Spent one night at this beach front hotel. Clean, pleasant staff, basic accomidation in a quaint beach town. Filled with actual kiwi tourist (not the usual international tourist floating the countryside) really enjoyed it. Highly recommnended.

Awesome location, right at the beach. Room was was located on top floor / 3rd floor. Own balcony with couple of chairs and that’s really all I needed. Stunning sceneries!! Close to the Hokitika Beach Sign - I loved Hokitika and the beach.
However the price we paid for the room - didn’t reflect the services we got ie. no sky.

Clean and spacious room on the 3RD floor overlooking the beach. I would describe the place as high quality medium level. They do things well. Main meals seemed a little too expensive with ribeye steak at $37 .it was ok but not the exceptional meal and ambience you expect at that price. Staff friendly and helpful

Extremely small bathroom with noisy door. Uneven floor in the corridor to the rooms. Clean and neat otherwise. Breakfast was good.

Extremely disappointed!!! Booked this with fly buys points and what a waste. It was not explained by the Hotel that the room we were being put in was old and badly in need of redecoration, lacking in any sort of decent ventilation. The only window opened up onto a balcony overlooking the street and could not be left open as would have been a burglars dream. The bathroom was disgusting, vinyl was peeling back off the floor, outside of shower tray was brown with something disgusting and the shower tray had genital hair stuck to it. We could not stay anywhere else was the whole area was booked and no vacancies anywhere. How this got a 4 star rating I can not believe. It must only apply to the new block of units that overlook the beachfront - one that we thought we had been booked into. Left notification with the Hotel and have not heard back. Restaurant was nice but food overpriced and it took 1.5 hours to get our meal. Drinks were also very expensive. Would not recommend this accommodation to anyone :( :( :(
