Very clean you get what you pay for ,no complaints staff very helpful and the dog buttons was welcome.

Upon finding hairs on my supposedly "clean" pillow I decided to investigate further only to find more disappointment in an uncleaned rug, food utensils and cookery that may have been washed a couple of years ago but definitely not in the week that we turned up to stay in the motel. Even though we were offered any room of our choice when bringing the uncleanliness up to reception we were greeted with the same kind of uncleanliness that the first room brought this time including dead flies on the kitchen counter. Definitely would not recommend staying here unless you wish to reenact an episode of CSI

A Kiwiana Motel, friendly owner, clean unit, comfortable bed. A bit dated however all we need for a long weekend in Kaikoura.

Motel bit out dated, stayed 6th & 7th Jan, but not to bad for price you
