Unfortunately our room was quite dirty - if you ran your finger along a shelf in the kitchen, it would come up black! We ended up checking out early and staying at another hotel. Beach front motel were good about this, and gave us a refund for nights not stayed. I believe they have some rooms which have undergone renovation which might be better, but the old rooms are pretty gross.

Great location, but what you'd expect from a motel. Older decor, have to lug your bags up stairs and lacking in creature comforts. But for one night's stay, we managed

Mouldy curtains and shower. At first glance looks lovely but starting to need maintenance. Lovely sea views and sound if the sea and traffic. Long haul with heavy bags up two exposed flights of stairs should have packed lighter!!! But comfortable enough. Free WiFi and close to restaurants.

Couldn't fault it our room was very nice. We went with 2 adults and 2 kids and it had everything we could want. Loved the spa bath, hot water pressure was excellent and overall very clean. The room was a bit more than what we would usually pay but it was worth it. Comfort!

Receptionist was not very helpful, and due to this I had a very frozen stay, manager when asked would he be happy with lack of info, he didn't care

We pulled in after an extremely long day of driving the night before. The owner of the hotel, a stouter brunette woman called us twice before 10am the next day to ask if we would be okay with workers coming into the room while we weren't there. I said no, she hung up, called back with a very cheeky attitude and sarcasm and began screaming into the phone at me. It was because I wouldn't let strangers in our room and she did not like our assertiveness when she became insistent.
The room had a very heavy odor of oil based paint and we found foreign hairs on our bed.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I refuse to believe that the positive reviews you have are valid. Either that, or you selectively harass people that come to your business. Save the canned response, I absolutely recommend against staying here. There are friendlier, more professional, and cleaner hotels within walking distance of this place.response / report this review
