If you want a Loan for construction of your House, BNZ is not a bank you should consider. When things go bad with build -despite you have financial means to overcome,- bank creates so many hurdles it literally takes 3-4 months to overcome them. This is despite you have everything ready start work. No one care if you banked with BNZ for years. None of the staff wouldn't want to touch your file. I even have cash, surplus assets to fund the part of the build. I got so fed up with them after 3 months of calling, I approached another bank, strangely in 1 working day they issued approval.

Indeed worst customer service in this branch. There's another one just a few blocks aways where staff is great. This branch seems to have something against foreigners. I didn't feel welcome there and wouldn't recommend for anyone. Terrible staff attitude towards customers.

The worst customer service I ever had! I have made a formal complaint through BNZ 0800 two weeks ago and expecting a call from the branch manager. However, I haven't heard anything from the branch since then. P.S. I do not want give one star, but I had no choice as the review only can be posted when I clicked the star.

This was a surprisingly cool place to visit! Firstly, it is in the National Bank of NZ bldg that has an awesome entrance. The museum is very interesting with a lot of very cool, historical items pertaining to NZ currency and its history. They have a neat time line of NZ currency and, to put things in perspective, a stack of $1million dollars of $50 notes on display. Some of the cooler items were WWI, WWII, and Nazi bank notes and coins from throughout the centuries. It is openly interactive for some of the displays, so if a draw says to open it, please do!
The coolest thing here though, is the Moniac Machine. If you do not know what this is, I invite you to Google it or just visit the Museum. If you are an econo nerd, you will nerd out here with this alone!
It is free entry, so well worth a visit, which if you are crunched for time you can do well within 30mins.response / report this review -

There are 3 women staff here the are very helpful, and they have same bank fees for me :)
