  New Management Excels!
  We have just spent two fantastic days at this Lodge. Our host Paul was exceptional, not only is he a excellent chef (giving you better than a restaurant quality breakfast) but he could not have been more willing to help us during our stay, his local knowledge was so good. The room was beautiful, quality linens and super comfy bed. The gardens are stunning and beautifully kept, there are a number of private spots to take a glass of wine, or in winter sit in front of the open fire. As there are only three rooms you can be guaranteed a quiet nights sleep. A very short distance from the bottom of the garden to the main street makes Arrowtown Lodge BnB one of the best places to stay for a visit to Arrowtown. We will definitely be back, under this new management this Lodge will go from strength to strength! Thank you so much Paul - Five Star accommodation and host!

  WARNING!!!! Don´t go there, aspecially not as a single woman!! I stayed in this cottage in march this year, planed to stay three weeks. I was surprised that I was most of the days only arrounded by the owner "Richard". (his wife went on holiday after the first day I arrived) He stared on my chest more and more every day when he was around, he came far to close to me and he offered me massages and a privat spa taking at night (together with him!!!) including vodka. (of course I didn´t say yes, I was just shoked!) WORST: he came into my private room without asking in the late evening, trying to see me naked?! (he said he wanted to tell me anything LOL!) Unbelievable! I just wanted to take some quite days and it ended up in being haressted by an old, disgusting man, the owner(!) and leaving earlier this place then it was planed.

  Richard and Sally made us very welcome and the pets were great company. Our cottage was warm and comfortable and we loved being able to walk to the village with some excellent bars and restaurants to explore during our few nights there.
  
  We highly recommend Arrowtown Lodge and look forward to visiting again before too long.

  welcome from the móment you come up the drive way . ive been away from arrowtown for the past 5 year after growing up there for 26 years. it was good to be back home and this place made me féel like i was home. i will always make this place my no1 to stay when back in central
