What a great find, stayed for 4 nights and what a pleasure it was, Such great friendly welcome on arrival. Clean and neat.
I will definitely. be staying here again and will recommend it as the BEST place to stay in Picton. cream of the crop. I can say that as I have stayed at other places in Picton before. You won't be disappointed.response / report this review -

Upon arrival at our Pet Friendly accommodation we found an unpleasant greeting at reception, and our room was the basement kennel. we understand we have limitations when we choose to travel with our wee maltese, but this is taking it too far. The whole unit had a tile floor,very cold as no heating was turned on until we arrived. Room also had a musty smell. An uncomfortable stay all round, I hope the landlady is in a better mood in the morning when we go to the office to pay and give her some feedback that she will not ask for. I wonder why??

My two teenage sons and I stayed overnight before completing our journey to Auckland. On entering the suite I was immediately impressed. A neat order place with a fresh look about it. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was clean and sharp looking. The upstairs bedroom with its own tv and vcr was much appreciated by my sons. They picked out several videos from the collection in reception for their evening entertainment.
We were in walking distance of several restaurants, finally picking the Indian we had a excellent meal.
The lodge was convenient to the ferry.
I left a bag behing with some personal items. When called cheerfully arranged transport.
I highly recommend this establishment.
