What a wonderful place. I felt like I was staying in the owners' home. It was very comfortable and the rooms were tidy and all facilities were clean.
I loved the outdoor seating area, which had very comfy chairs and lots of plants.
The owner was very helpful and nice to talk to.

Coffee great. But the food.. horrible. Quiche was spongie dry. Almost unbeatable. Shame kiwi's cannot bake good food.. fake eggs. Fake butter.

Enjoyed the perks of hot tub (book a 30 min slot in the evening) and free chocolate pudding and ice cream around dinner time. Could do with a couple more showers and toilets but the rooms were comfortable enough and a big kitchen. Quiet location, near to a supermarket and walkable into the town centre. The owner who made the pudding put a bad taste on our stay, acting too much like a bossy teacher/parent, relentless at clearing out unmarked items in the fridge (saw an unopened 2L of coke get poured down the drain), to the point she shouted out a 10 minute warning before check out!

Really nice place to stop in Picton. Clean and tidy, has cozy fireplace, free soup and pudding in evening and free breakfast. WiFi is free and works well but is available only in lounge and main areas.

Clean, friendly, free wifi, delicious chocolate pudding every night, loved it! It's a bit of a walk into the city from here but not too bad. I would definitely recommend this place! I should have stayed longer!
