Old but got place to live in. Almost always occupied but can go a little far and get better accommodation at cheaper rates. Try Taranaki Street instead.

The accommodation was average (we thought it could have been a little cleaner with a few more repairs done). But, it was good value for money compared to other hotels in this price range.
It was extremely noisy though, it was almost like sleeping out on the street!
