Pretty cheap and basic wee motel. We used this to stay a night on way to early morning ferry, and it was fine for that. Handy location to walk into Cuba St cafes and restaurants.

Stay here, This is a great place to stay, we had an emergency over the Christmas and new year period where one of our family was hospitalised we drove from Auckland to Wellington, These guys were fully booked but made room for us we were moved around for the 5 nights but hey who cares we had a place to stay and we were very great full for that so thank you Tim an Felicity

After staying uncomfortably in a few costly hotels, I switched to 88 WALLACE COURT MOTEL, and immediately the staff were VERY accomodating, and helpful. The owner is super friendly and PROACTIVE in meeting your needs, no matter how random. I highly RECOMMEND staying at this place, short term or long.

They got me in WAY before my check in time at no cost, the large room was very clean and was well stocked with various conveniences like plates and utensils. The owner even provided me with some free fresh cream for my coffee's. They were happy to make up a letter for me stating that I would be staying there, as I needed it to apply for various forms and registrations.

Great hosts, great location, great room.
