Cheap place to stay in Thamel area. Don't expect much comfort, but you can find better places with same prices in and around Thamel. If you are in Kathmandu, just to explore things then it's a good place to stay.

Received our payment but when got to the hotel the door was locked. Had to wake them up, they said they didn't have my booking but it was right on their Agoda email. Lies and more lies. Room large, creepy feeling, bad location, toilet right in the wall (have to use it sideways), ok Wi-Fi and price.

Some rooms better than the others. They can have more windows in rooms. You'll need fan to keep it ventilated. Maintenance needs more vigilance. The cleaning lady is good. Friendly staff. Someone complained of bugs in the bed.

A very decent place for a very affordable price. Located at the very heart of the city. Pancakes were not the best but there are good restaurants nearby. Staff are good and friendly. Dhurba, the owner was very helpful in arranging transportation for us from Kathmandu to Birgunj. The alley to the Zen B&B is dark but there are pubs nearby and people around till late night.

The help was very sweet, they helped us anytime we needed with anything they could! They had a travel agency in the basement that we found very useful. And the rooms that were part of the bed and breakfast deal were very nice and spacious. However the water there was HORRIBlLE: it was never hot and the water would occasionally just not work. Also it was in an alley thag was hard to find.

Very recommended for everyone, the good and helpful staff tell everything about Nepal and others. Very cheap place and you can have your breakfast early morning. Good choice!

It's cheap, but it sucks. Faucets are vroken, the staff has no idea who sleeps in which bed, they barge into the dorms 50 times a day and night, waking people up and ALWAYS leave the door open. But it's 300 a night and it is next door to the best cheapest restaurant in Thamel (Legendary Fresh Food Kitchen).

Cheap, really hard to find (search for signs north of kathmandu guesthouse). The bedding was a little bit dirty and there were some bugs in the bathroom - so nothing out of ordinary regarding cheap places.

Staffs are nice, would love to help you if needed. Bathroom condition is bad, only warm water, no hot water. One toilet stuck all time, but never fixed. However, with this price. I still give a 4 star.
