The near to Kathmandu wher we enjoyed picnic with family. Due to the road maintenance, broken blacktop road is full of dusty and traffic is heavy. Although the location is good, I recommend not to choose before the completion of black top.

Tribhuwan park, although tribhuwan is lying down the stairs bidding goodbye to the sky above. The massive earthquake in 2015 caused this catastrophe. Place is good, perfect retreat who want to escape from the dusty and chaotic Kathmandu. This place sometime falls into my early morning walk routine.

A park standing there for decades which is well known for picnics and refreshments. Now is mixed with the dust and horns from the nearby highway which is under construction. You can expect at least an hour to reach there from kalanki chowk.

A park build to commemorates Late King Tribhuwan Bir Bikram Shah. This park is used as a recreational place as people to spend their weekend. There is mini fun park allocated within the park. During winter season, large number of student group and family come here to spend time and do picnic activities. But the ratio at which people used to visit decade back it has been reduced slightly but this park can be developed as one of the best park for various recreational activities with proper management of waste and environment.

Thankot is a large village lies in the west ofKathmandu District in the Bagmati Zone in central Nepal. It lies in the bed of 'Chandragiri hill'. This park is named upon the ex-King of the kingdom of Nepal, Tribhuvan Bit Bikram Shah Dev. This place has a historically significance along with a huge areas of land; well maintained especially for the group picnics.and outings as well. There is still a little bit of risk regarding the wild animal encounters since the.Camerawork forest is very close to it. There are separate sheds constructed for the picnic spirit as to cook and enjoy the jungle type meal. School students are often seen at the spot. Yet, the young lovers and couples really get enjoyed being there closer to.The nature itself. Natural tranquillity and stunning scenes are the one which every one.who had been there would definitely praise for. We need to purchase a ticket for entrance and you are free to take every fun that exist there. The student discounts are available on 50% of the total cost. FOR those of the local people they have their own place.to get inside and get out of there. The fascinating thing is that now, we have the Chandragiri Cable Car ready to drop you upon the top of the Chandragiri.forest in about 10 minutes; returning is even easier and fast. All we need is to purchase a ticket worth of 600 Rupees for a two way ride. The place seems little bit cemetery since this cable car has has been under operation for just a few months. Hence, we need to spare around half an hour to get to the cable car station.
it is believed that the Hindu Lord of the Lords, Mahadeva, himself had spen years in here doing meditation. Nevertheless, there are so many interesting stories and beliefs about this mystical holy hill. The view of the sunrise and sunset are special ones as we will feel as if we have reached the heaven being at the top of this decorated mountain. Every year, the yearly feast named upon the Chandragiri festival; so has been celebrating through out a whole month. Worthy enough to be as if you would think about the mountain flight here in Nepal around the ranges and series of tall and exotic snow mountains; the rare blessings from the.mother nature herself!
