Helpful and cooperative staffs. Try to reach early during busy season because of limited availability of accommodation. No charge for room, if taken food from same hotel. Store enough water with you, because in the early morning all the taps get frozen. Wake up early and start your trek to the Tilicho at or before 4:00 AM.

Tilicho base camp is the one where you rest before the tilicho lake ascend and after you have visited tilicho. Situated at around 4100m, there are few hotels to stay.

6 hours walk from the Khangsar stop to reach here, and 6 hours walk to reach Tilicho from here.

Beautiful valley like place. With a rivulet flowing along and hills encasing this beauty from all sides except the north.

No mobile signal available here. Landline via VSAT and irregular internet through the same.

Neat hotels, reasonable expenses for food and shelter.

Great views, awesome place to be. But you need to go prepared because it can be very packed during seasons (Sept - Oct). There no mobile phone network but wifi is available in each hotel. There is no vehicle road access here so you need to walk/hike from Shree Kharka through awesome + dangerous landslide roads. Must visit!! It is also a part of Annapurna Circuit Trail.

the food isn't great, cant charge you phone, no telephone, no electricity, no Wi-Fi, everything is expensive but who cares when you're at the doorstep of heaven.

The trail to the base camp is very dangerous but Tilicho lake is very beautiful.

Relatively to other place during the track its expensive, medium minus food, and cold.
On the other side this is the most isolated guesthouse, so I wouldn't expect much more for such place
