  We had high expectations for this hotel. Sadly due to bad weather we didn't have many glimpses of the mountain, not their fault.
  
  What disappointed us the most were the (hidden) extras that resulted in us spending $500 extra (excluding accommodation) over two nights.
  
  Lunch / dinner is $25/person when we asked in advance we were told approximately $15/person for lunch and $20/person for dinner which was wrong would you expect them to know the accurate prices. All meals are $25/person then you have to add 10% mandatory service then 13% tax. The food was good but very over priced compared to the food you can get in town for under $5/person, wine was $30/bottle.
  
  They also give you a spiel about communal tipping for the people you don't see behind the scenes which i thought was cheeky given they charge 10% service charge on everything.
  
  If you choose to go down to the town in their shuttle they charge $20/ person round trip again quite exorbitant.
  
  We ordered massages - the quality was very average and on your bed in your room, not ideal.
  
  The décor was nice but somewhat dated, the staff were friendly and pleasant but given there were only three couples this was to be expected.
  
  If you're scared of spiders, be warned we were greeted with a giant spider in the bathroom one night.
  
  If we came back here we would stay somewhere else and get our views outside of our accommodation.
