  Yuk,the hotel is disgusting.they don't change the bedsheets.the bedsheets stings.But the workers are polite and helpful.

  Loved this place! It is clean and the staff is lovely. Breakfast was included in our stay and the chefs prepared our eggs any way we wanted them! The rooftop view of the mountains was lovely. We had a jug of safe drinking water in our rooms also. I recommend room 408 for a great view and proximity to the small viewing porch. Good location. In walking distance to lakeside and yet not noisy. The a/c was quiet. Had good sleeps there.

  Hotel Milarepa is named after one of one of Tibet’s most famous yogis and poets and a major figure in the history of Tibetan Buddhism. He lived an austere life on the bare hillsides of the Himalayas, eking out an existence on donations and the few plants that grow in the harsh mountain environment. His name means “The Cotton-Clad One,” and he generally wore just a thin sheet, using the heat generated by meditation practices to keep the fierce Tibetan cold at bay. Despite his remote living situation he attracted many disciples and visitors. He was a master of a meditation approach that emphasizes the innate purity of the mind.

  "Really nice" say my friends who already stayed there for 3 nights. They like rooms, location and environment of the hotel.
  Milarepa is going to offer New Year special rate in request. Advance booking is better to reserve a best view room.

  Hotel Milarepa is a very nice hotel located in the busy tourist district Lakeside, but aside the main road. The hotel staff is very friendly and eager to offer a good service all day long and even during the night. The rooms are clean, bright and spacious with bathroom. The mountain view from the balcony and roof top is particularly impressive. In the backyard you can relax and enjoy some quietness. Sometimes, they offer BBQ as well. I highly recommend you to stay at Hotel Milarepa for a couple of days.
