Extremely busy place as people don't want to walk the extra distance so all try and stay here. Be prepared to share a room, wait on food and in line for the toilet. There is one common room with a heater, one without. They do a good job on keeping up with all the food orders, etc. The food is decent quality but expensive which is understandable based on the location. The rooms are okay, beds comfortable. The pit toilets are what you'd expect for a busy place with two toilets.

Totally worth the extra effort from base camp top make your pass day that much easier. I see a lot of people complaining about this place. IMO it's amazing that they have as much as they do here considering its location. We had good food and slept well. We had to share a room but again, at this location, for 1 night, no biggy. Purify your water as usual. The view from the lookout point was great. There were lineups for toilet but what can you do.

I wonder if anyone can have a good night sleep in this cold place. The place is surrounded with beautiful mountains and don't miss out on going to the high camp peak. Panoramic views of the mountains gives chills.

Cold! One of the side affects of altitude is needing to "go" very often. I woke up on this freezing night and had the best night sky of my life!

It was the coldest place in my life. -25° at night and i can't sleep thus night. It's only Ok for one night. WiFi costs 250 Rupies.

Any inn at 16,000ft is going to be magic, and these guys did it. They made magic. In fairness, it was cold, there was no hot water (of course), but it was the BEST PIZZA OFF MY LIFE and a really beautiful, fun place. To respond to a review before me, I'm sure the water source is not filtered, but hardly anything lives at that altitude to pollute it. I saw no yaks or horses grazing among the rocks. It's not 100% safe, but the odds are with you.

We just had breakfast before the big ascent. Not the best, but it's always good to take a break after an early start :) And the view is really nice :)

You don't have to much choice if to sleep there or not.
But it's a nice place.
The prices in the restaurant are high as expected in the hight.
The food is good.
The rooms are taken fast so you should come early or send your Porter, if you have one, a head to save you a place.

In case you want to sleep here make sure you are well acclimatized (e.g. Ice Lake or Tilicho lake trips beforehand or 2-3 days above 4000 meters). The place has basic rooms, food is expensive but that's not surprising. If the weather is clear make sure you go to the viewpoint nearby, it's an amazing spot! Many people wake up early (4am) to leave to the pass but in my opinion that's not necessary. It's a 7-8 hours walk like many other days during the AC.

There is only one hotel at this place. If you go on peak season for trekking then you will find it to be quiet packed. Hot water can cost NRs 1000.00 Per liter. Vegetarian Nepali Dal Bhat is available for Rs 650 as on April 2016.
