Felt great to reach this point. The views weren't great from high camp to here due to darkness and clouds. However once we reached the pass we had great views down the other side. Saw a few people being taken up on horse. This was strange as we thought if you had problems you should go down, not up? The descent on the other side is crazy! A fantastic, long day.

It took 13 hours for us to go from Thorang Phedi to Muktinath. Difficult but very good scenery on the route.

It is an amazing feeling when you pass the first time. Weather was like from the book me a lot of snow, blue sky and lots of sun. sensational

There is nothing but relief and extreme happiness upon seeing all the prayer flags to let you know you have made it. There is also a monument to commemorate your accomplishment of reaching the highest point of this particular trail and if you come during the right season, you can also get a cup of tea. The land is pretty barren except for a lot of gravel and snow and if you're lucky, you can see the caravan of horses, mules, donkeys and even some blue sheep. Don't stop too long because if you're heading to Mukhtinath, you have roughly 5 hours of hiking left.

Highest walkable pass in the world. Expect high winds and no water!

It was a hell of a climb. But even more when going down.
