The ambience in the common room was amazing, with well decorated walls and music. Lovely food, with the host and hostess taking personal care with the orders. Comfortable room with attached bathroom.

Stopped for lunch here. It seemed like a great teahouse. Our lunch was very good. Good tunes playing. If not for wanting to make the hike over the pass shorter we would have stayed here.

An extra special stop along the track. Great food and accommodation in just the right spot. Good to stay or to have a meal and rest up before continuing on up higher.

Had a room in the 'old' part. No attached bathroom/toilet. Room/bed was not really clean, also no bin in the room itself. Mattress is thin. Mice were running in the room at night looking for food. WiFi available for 200rs.
Porter service available: 4000rs to Muktinath, 2500rs to the top of the Thorung La Pass (heard that after some negotiation some people could get a porter to the top for 2000rs).

Windhorse restaurant is surprisingly excellent considering the altitude. Great place to spend the night, usually for free.

Situation on a mountain side overlooking the trail you just trekked on. More room for lodgers than high camp.

So nice to make a stop before the Big Day ! :)
Place is nice, food are more expensive but in this altitude no surprise. High Camp is is about an hour's climb.

Great bakery products. The apple pie was huge and they have proper arabica coffee too. Good place to chill but it's better if you spend the night in the high camp as it allows better acclimatization and easier pass at Thorong La.
