I visited the monastery a few years ago, it's the most amazing place, I left the prayer room in floods of tears, I spent the rest of the day with the feeling of total contentment, with a silly smile on my face.
I would love to go back there.
Amazing place, out of this world.
One of my favourite places in the world! Incredible views in all directions, and sunrise is just magical. Definitely stop here if you can, whether or not you go into the Monastery, its just worth it for the scenery.

Incredible place, inside the Monastery is amazing the paint work and decoration, all hand made by the monks.
One of my favorite stops on the way to Everest Base Camp. They have a real oven, and they make some of the best food in the park (try the Lasagna and Pizza).
