Beautiful picnic spot near Kathmandu. It lies in west of capital city and can travel from three location, Naikap, Sitapaila and Gurjudhara. Spot is facilitate with water and restroom with secure compounded wide ground. It consist of 16 stalls covered with dense forest from all side. Some wild animals like Tiger and Leopard can be spot occasionally. Besides other different birds and herbs can be found here. This is one of the place recommended for picnic and for outing with family or friends.

High up in the hills, I found the place really peaceful. There is nothing much to do here, but the view of Kathmandu valley will prove to be delightful.

Since it's a picnic spot, it's a bit polluted with plastic waste amidst the surrounding greenary.

Not much interest as they put good name. Park is not clean, not with good view. Anyone can enjoy good hiking around temples, Kalupande samadhi park and local villages.

The park is basically a picnic spot on top of the small hill near Kathmandu. This easily accessible place is very popular among locals and tourists as well. You will meet many people enjoying a lovely day with their families. You can go for camping here or trekking/hiking is also possible. There are two temples on the top - Mai temple and Indra temple. Visit those to know the cultural and architectural patterns of the place. 😀

When I went there it was still under construction .Nothing was there to enjoy my trip. The natural view was also not as expected. There are many great park than this one so won't recommend to visit this one but not sure if they gonna make it better hope to find this great destination in the future .

It's a good place for picnics and all but the name of the place and the condition of actual place has no resemblence.Although for picnics it has great prospect as people can visit indradaha which is within walking distance.There is lots of room for improvement.

Perfect place for day hike from where beautiful panaromic himalayan view of Mt.Manasalu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang and eastern part of himalayas can be seen. Local inhabitants, their culture and dialogue, different temples and monasteries along the trail make the hike more interesting and wonderful.

Good place to go with family. Amazing view of mountains from the park if the sky is clear. A great picnic spot. Can go with friends and spend some time there. A great place to hang out and spend 5-6 hours of a day.

Good place for any kind of picnic. 2 and 4 wheel vehicle can come here. This spot usually is empty except in some season in which many people come here for picnic. It is only a open ground so be sure not to expect more than the scenery of the surrounding.

It is at the top of hill mountain , around one hour by bus from Sitapaila Kathmandu. Mainly it is picnic spot. The holy temple is at the east(Mai temple) and west(Indra Temple).Road is small and narrow.
