Amazing view! It's raw and natural. Few good Resorts around the National Park will enhance your experience. But take atleast 2 days off for a good experience.

The park includes some historical and religious sites, and a popular hiking route.lots of animals residence.
The area has always been an important water catchment area, supplying the kathmandu valley with several hundred thousands cubic liter of water daily.report this review -

Excellent place for hiking 14-15 km of trail. Level is medium-hard. Can be done in 4 hours or if we take rest in between then 5-6 hours of hiking. Can reach to Chisopani and have food there

Amazing place near Kathmandu for easy hiking. Great place for weekends, if you are a nature lover. Advised to visit in a group as there is a rare chance of encounter with some wild animals.

This park is very suitable for hiking and cycling. People around world come for the adventure. National level marathon takes place often every year. I love to hang around this place.

Not far from the city but far enough to be away from it's chaos. Well placed, full of nature, serene, peaceful. Awesome view of the valley. Conserved by army, so it's secure and well managed. It's a good place for weekend plans.

It was awesome treeking 8 hours. From starting point gate to top of the mountain. You must try with your friends soon. Enjoy in winter with snowfall too.

Its very beautiful place. It has lots of place for wonder pictures to be taken. Those seekers of natural peace and beauty must check this place out. I special recommend dipping your feet in those chilling ponds , its so fun. The water there is always cool. I also suggest the new photographers who want to prove there skills go there and shoot pics.

I have a amazing experience at this place.. it is so beautiful we can find the true natural beauty and it's magic on the air.. as ktm valley is so much polluted it can be the best destination for being fresh and feeling relaxed..

One can enjoy the beautiful view of the Kathmandu valley from the top of the national park. It's a off road route through the forest up the hill, so might need a decent motorbike. Perfect for cycling.

Amazing place for hiking and bird watching. There are several routes present and each has its own beauty. You have to take a ticket from the army checkpost before entering the place.

A best place to spend peaceful time. Some popular hiking routes have made this way more better. But the jungle is dense .locals believe that even tigers are seen in this region sometimes but cheetah and bears are said to be found occasionally. One can easily spend a day or two easily.

Shivapuri Nagarjune National park is great place for hiking and biking. Green forest with fresh air inside the park. Can see great view of Kathmandu valley view. Have to pay for entrance fees for persona and mountain bikes.

Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park is the best green forest for hiking. It is the ninth national park in Nepal and was established in 2002. It is located in the country's mid-hills on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu Valley and named after Shivapuri Peak of 2,732 m (8,963 ft) altitude. It covers an area of 159 km square.

Beautiful place to go hiking.. The greens are all natural here. There are more than 2000 stairs here so be prepared and go.. Also the down side of it is there isn't a proper resource if you get lost here. But over all had a really adventurous time here. Must go once!

One of the dense jungle near Kathmandu city. Cool and calm place from city noises. If you are a hiker, be sure to visit this place. Though this is a national park, I didn't see any wild animals.
