  We stayed at Rupa View Guest House for 10 nights in the beginning of December 2017. WE had spent time traveling around and being in Kathmandu and wanted some quiet in the nature. And really loved our time at Rupa View. They have 4 rooms that are simple but kept very nice and clean on the second floor of a relatively new Newari style (think hotel Dwarikas or Bhaktapur or Patan Durbar Square) house. The family lives on the first floor so it is very homely. It is quiet. It is nice. Simple. Clean. And the food is great.
  You can go for walks or just take it easy. The Nepali food for dinner is nice and although it was similar every night it was so good that we did not get tired.
  If you want a nice and peaceful place to take it easy, this is a great place.

  Peaceful and warm, homey. The rooms are simple and clean with very magnificent views. The Nepali food for dinner is amazing. And the pancakes and eggs for breakfast also. The place is cared for with much love- the building, garden, animals.

  It is a family run guest house where you have the option to share your meals with the host family. They have clean rooms with hot water. The quiet and peaceful environment is best for relaxing amid the sounds of nature. You could take walks to the Rupa Lake and have fresh catch from the lake with your lunch (need to pre-order with the host family who then contact the fishermen).

  Rupa view is a great little guest house over looking lake Rupa about 25kms from Pokhara. They have simple but clean rooms and a local menu of fresh organic food and coffee grown by the family. If you are interested in bird watching this is a great place to visit. The owner has binoculars and books and is more than happy to take you out and show you some of the amazing birds in Nepal. We hadd 6 Asian Griffon Vultures in the tree about 20m from the guesthouse last spring. March and April are great months for the birds as the flowers are out but October and November are also good for clear mountain views
