This hotel is located right next to a school, which may cause some noise disturbances but that is not a huge problem. The beds are nice and they provide just enough for you to stay comfortable. I think the price might be quite expensive though.

Best value for the price you pay! HAve stayed in most of the nice hotels in Kathmandu. Found this hotel as one of the best in the area. The staff service and the food is very good. I liked the mini kitchen with Fridge and the Microwave oven a lot.

Online rates are not actual rates. It may differ kindly double check. Otherwise its big surprise, huge property in a narrow lane. Anyways its common in Kathmandu. I appreciate staff to assist me in midnight. Enough car parking area.

I stayed at Royal Astoria Hotel with my two children and my wife. At the beginning I was little bit worried when I booked this hotel as I have read some comment made by Indian tourist as they were not very happy but once I entered the hotel compound I like it because they had large garden without pollution(one of my child has asthma and can not bear pollution) Rooms were very clean, staff and manager were very helpful. We always ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. The chef prepared very nice Indian vegetarian meal.

We recommend to all people if you are looking for a place without pollution in a clean environment.

I am back again at Royal Astoria Hotel with different mission, conducting International workshop. We appreciate the warm welcome, courtesy and hall arrangement for workshop. We are organising this workshop from 2nd May till 6th May , all the participants are residing at Royal Astoria Hotel, specially the plenty of Hot and cold water available even though there is a load shedding very often. Some of our friends were worried about the water problem due to the power cut. Hotel has very comfortable hall accommodating our 40 participants. Meals were very nice, service above imagination. I would like to thank again to the manager for op of arrangement made very efficiently.
