    Overrated hotel
    Pathetic service
Rooms on top floor not recommended in summer as the room stays hot because of direct sunrays heating up the roof and the half ton AC lumbering to cool off the room.
    Food/restaurant is best avoided.

Decent size rooms and aircon was good. However the bath room wasn't amazing and the plug sockets didn't always work. Nice walk to the main strip and a short walk to where the crocodiles are! I didn't like that elephants were being ridden through the hotels walk way(I don't agree with elepahnt riding). The buffet that was included was pretty decent too

Our guide was wonderful! He took great care to make sure we learned a lot about the wildlife in the area, gave us tips for viewing wildlife, and made sure we got the most out of our experience.

I dropped one star because I had a bad experience with management at the last minute and another star for the quality of their food.

As I was walking to their van to catch a bus at 7am on my last morning there, a man I never met asked if I had any small bills for a cola. I asked what he meant and he stated I owed them for a cola I drank with lunch on my first day there. Since I had pre-paid for the excursion, I had no idea there were any extra fees and the waiter did not tell me there was a charge for the cola he offered. I would be happy to pay for a cola I drank but I had no small bills and they could not make change for what I had. The smallest I had was 500r. They could not accept that as payment! I could not believe this! I was getting on a bus to leave and they wanted me to find a place to get change so I could pay for a 75r cola that they never told me I owed them for. Why didn't they ever say anything about the cola? I ate six more meals there and they never said anything. I ordered a cola the second day and they said they didn't have any cola. They never brought me a bill. Never asked me to pay for anything. I turned to get in the van and there were five men standing there (including the waiter) like I was going to try to run away. This was the strangest thing I've ever experienced! Every place I've ever stayed has given a bill for any charges the last night of the stay. And the fact they wanted money but couldn't make change really ticked me off. This one thing will keep me from recommending them to friends.

Their food was not very good. It seemed they were trying to offer American style meals but weren't too sure how to do so. They served frozen mixed veggies (which I can make at home) with each meal, french fries that are soft and greasy, and rice or noodles. Very starchy meals. No flavor to veggies or pudding - both were very bland - nothing like Nepali food. The first night the pudding was super thick. The second night the pudding was runny. Nothing was consistent in the kitchen. Not even their ability to offer a cola.

Awesome gateway lodge to Chitwan NP. The owner and the guides there are super friendly and helpful. Good, hot free breakfasts. In the center of town, but on the park side at the river - which means it's black as coal at night for excellent sleeping and easy to hear various wildlife night calls. Rooms well appointed (for a jungle Lodge, especially), clean and comfy beds. Clean walk in room showers. And if it's your birthday, the owner will plant a tree seedling of your choice in your honor - until the river floods it down stream - Jk, kinda.:p. We went down there out of Kathmandu by Mini bus along the very "enjoyable" cliff highways and returned by the Nepali standard issue prop plane. Easy in. Easy out. And, Chitwan NP? Awesomely dangerous. Do that. Stay there. No regrets. I promise you that.

An average hotel. The food served was good. We had a tour of the 20,000 lakes organised through the girl which was great. The real suprise was the white rhino walking through the garden in the evening.
