I visited this place twice and its improvement is change little bit. But also there must be the facilities for drinking water inside the palace premises. The transportaion should be made reliable.

It's very similar to Hawa Mahal like in India with multiple doors. The best thing is it is near to Gandaki river and the hanging bridge is awesome

Initialky or Originally it should have been excellent palace built in memory of beloved queen by Rana king. Presently it has turned into ruin building. We pity on the carelessness of Nepalese government. However we loved the place and its beautiful surroundings with tranquil kali river.

Rani Mahal is a Rana palace constructed by Khadga Shamsher in banks of kali gandaki river in the memory of his beloved youngest wife.
Peaceful place and great view! It is 14km from Tansen, Palpa. The road is graveled but is underconstruction. You will definitely not remember the road after you reach the destination. Great Architecture and Nature at the same time. It really reflects the love of Khadga Shamsher. One of the tourist attraction of Nepal.

"Ranimahal" also called "Ranighat" the "Taaj mahal" of Nepal. Tej Mahal was built by Khadga Sumsher Jung Bahadur Rana in 1897. The ambitious Rana, a general of the Nepal Army, with his brothers had plotted and successful carried out the assassination of his uncle Ranadip Singh Bahadur but once the task was completed, he was banished to Palpa in western Nepal by his brother Bir Sumsher who succeeded the ruler.
