Oh it's incredible experience at Nepal Yoga Home. I have spent 29 days advance level certified yoga teacher training course in Nepal Yoga Home. My experience is completely perfect.

I'm very grateful to existence that I participated 500 hours yoga teacher training course in Nepal yoga home in this period of lockdown. I am contented with this class I realized that at least one family member in one family should be graduated with this course so that, every human being should be benefited physically mentally spiritually financially socially. Special thanks to prakash sir, bishal sir, manoj sir and ram hari sir for outstanding classes.I found stay here is heavenly blessed with profound natural beauty. Thank you.

I am more than glad to get great schooling from this Nepal Yoga Home. I learn from more than 10 different yoga schools among of them I find this is most impressive and affordable comparing its quality of teaching, food and air conditioning room and facilities. Yoga home offers very safe and warm family environment which is very hard to get such a support. It's safe for tourist and female. I learn very well guided meditation and philosophy under very qualified teacher.

I was searching Yoga school in India and one of my friend Sarah who completed teacher training from Nepal Yoga Home recommend me Nepal as a best destination for Yoga. I joined this training and found it life changing training. We were 24 students for yoga teacher training and all we were enjoying it very much. All teacher were super talented, accommodation was nice, environment was like a home. I am still missing them a lot.

Friendly reception, accommodating people but it isn't as quiet as I would've thought of a meditative spiritualistic centre.
The approach road is somewhat shaky so if constitution isn't strong enough then ask driver to go slow.
Lots of building work going on in the neighbourhood and a trafficked road in front. Rear looking rooms are desirable for a peaceful stay.response / report this review -

- Runned down facility, the Yoga hall is falling apart, surface is not flat, the yoga mats are not cleaned after every session and are peeling away. The house is dusty, some students were catching allergies.
- Manager/owner overcharges 3 to 4 times more when booking taxis for the yoga home tenants. The taxi booked happens to be belong to his friends. Maybe he takes a commision? IE Yoga Home to Tamel, he charges us 600 roupies, with a taxi of the street is 165.
- The food is very basic and cheap, doesn’t make much sense to the 50 to 75 usd per night paid, when they do not have time to cook they go down the street and buy cheap biscuits served for breakfast, or popcorn for lunch.
- The students coming in for 10 days retreat are thrown in the same classes as the 500 hours certification course on their 3rd week, doesn’t make any sense for those students.
- The yoga instructors ask for “money donation” directly to the students though they already paid the manager Prakash.
- Students are packed up 2 per room thought the price is 4 times more expensive than an entire apartment in the same street.
- Prakash the manager/owner rushes you to charge your card or cash as soon as you step in the house before giving you the TnC & regulation of the house, later tells them out loud without giving them out in written but forgets to mention an important point which I found out the hard way : the next day I found out while gone for dinner in the city that the gate closes at 9 pm. I had to book a hotel outside. TNC should be communicated in written BEFORE charging the person and signed, not after orally omitting to mention the most important point. No actions we taken the next day to compensate me.
- I think that ultimately Prakash doesn't know how to manage a business and constantly plays between talking a lot about money and his spiritual "we are a familly" joker card.response / report this review -

I enrolled for a 10 days yoga retreat.
Arrived at the yoga home, no one explained me anything on what was the scheduled. I dived in directly in a yoga class which was given to people doing a 500 hours teacher training.
I was surprised as a 10 days retreat and a ttc training don't expect the same course.
After a day, I asked the owner if we could have our own tuition. He was first reluctant and said it would be nicer for us to follow a ttc training as they are supposed to be given more details.
We accepted to follow their course with the condition we would be given extra details during the practise.
On the whole, the place is basic but clean. The food is basic too and could be a bit more healthier as we are supposed to adopt a yogi life style.
The yoga classes are not the best. I have been practising for 2 years with multiple teachers. And by my experience, they may have the knowledge but clearly they don't know how to pass it on.
I decided to leave earlier as I felt unhappy about my retreat. Didn't learn anything, and thought for this amount money might as well stay in a nice place in Thamel, eat healthy food and take yoga class day by day.
Which I did, and it was way better. I definitely not recommend that place.response / report this review -
