This is the temple of Hindu goddess and by her name the place is also known as Naxal, Bhagawatibahal. The temple is beautifully built and is open for all. There is no any entry fee for anyone. It contains a free space with seats for visitors. So it can be a nice place for all to take a rest in the temple premises. There is facility of water for washing hands. A deep Stone tap is also present. Being located in Chowk it has two entrance gates. Special worshipping to goddess is done in Dashain festival. Normal worshipping is always occurring. Prayers are allowed to inside the temple. Many bells are hanged on inside temple premises.

This three-storey Shakta temple is located in Bhagavati Vahal of Naxal. The brick structure has some fine examples of wood carving. On the walls of the temple are glazed tiles and pictures representing various deities, and inside there is a Shivalinga and an image of the goddess. The present building was constructed by Bhimataksari. the chief priest is Acharya. It has a day of great rejoicing on the day of Pishacha-Chaturdasi. - Kathmandu Valley Inventory
