  A great place to stay overnight during your trek or as a base for several days to do some hiking in the Nagarkot area. It is a bit away from the hustle and bustle from Nagarkot but that makes it one of the best places to stay: nice, clean, well maintained, great views, quiet, but close by Nagarkot if you want to get into the frenzy. The rooms have a private bathroom with hot water, a nice private balcony to enjoy the views and even a private wood stove (it can get cold up here). Dinner and breakfast were delicious! We loved this place. A nice escape from Kathmandu.

  Nagarkot Farmhouse is a hidden gem amongst the hills of Nagarkot. Don't let the name 'farmhouse' put you off - there's nothing farmhouse related about this place. I didn't even see a chicken, but I mean that in a good way. This place is pretty snazzy. You may be thinking the worst when driving down the "road" to the entrance, as its mainly a thin trail of rocks on the ground - but fear not! Once you squeeze through the tiny entrance gate you will be captured by Nagarkot Farmhouses true beauty. The rooms are nice, bathrooms have toilet paper which is always a plus in Nepal if you want my personal opinion. Beds are comfy, and the room generally stays quite warm even when its bloody freezing outside. Rooms do come with a fireplace if you're into that kind of thing but it's probably not necessary. Dining room looks downward over the Nagarkot hills and breakfast and dinner is pretty delicious. Place is quite modern. But by that I mean, you know, modern for a place in the middle of nowhere. It's clean and staff are friendly. Try your luck here, I think it will surprise you.

  This place has so much potential. Beautiful buildings, beautiful location and grounds, but the staff were completely disinterested, the glasses grubby and basics unavailable.
