This hotel has good and big rooms with good facilities. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. You don't need to worry about money exchange if you are foreigner as money currency is also available here in this hotel.

Nice, familiar, extreme friendly, moderate pricing, top Sherpa (Porter) for rent, superb roof top terrace to view full of Kathmandu and well located at Thamel, the hot spot of tourists.

Amazing stay, probably the best stay I had for the 1.5 months in Nepal. Greeted with great smile and friendliness by the host. Great view of the city roofscape at the roof terrace, where breakfast is. Clean and comfortable room. Good wifi. Near Thamal but away from the noise and buzz. But expect the chanting and gong from the nearby temple every morning.

Very good place. The hotel is very well located close to a temple and not on the main road. It is very close to Thamel (one road to cross). WiFi is very good and there is a very nice roof top terrace. The owners are very helpful and kind.

Hotel were ok, owner were very friendly at this hotel. Only problem was TV doesn't work owner kept saying she is waiting for repair man lol, phone in my room were dead, toilet sit were broken, there is no water on flush, so have to fill water from bucket to flush the toilet. One afternoon i oredered tea but owner said they are busy ive to wait? So socked of their carelessness. There were several time when get back to hotel from day trip had to wait outside because nobody attending in reception to open the door so had to wait outside annoying. Food was good but there is no manu? That mean they will charge you what they want no choices perhaps that's the trick? I am not complaining but you're running a business you need to get things sorted. Carelessness is not the excuse after all your business is your reputation. Guest paid money expecting what come along is not the way you treat them. Be extra nice be kind with your words. Thank you :)

My stay at metro eco hotel was as pleasent as possible. Very friendly and extremely helpful hosts, very clean rooms and the roottop-area is amazing :) thank you and see you again!

Don't ever think to reserve room in this hotel. They are not there to serve you, but just to get money out from you. Literally, the owner looted our money through a travel package. we found out about it later through the Hiace driver that he charge RS. 900 extra each from three of us. We are Nepali and they show these kind of hospitality and now think what they will do to the foreigners. Please be aware before staying at this particular hotel because you might become a victim, if you are not familiar about transportation service and charges. Never going to stay in the place again!!!

Its a small hotel situated in a narrow street of Sohrakhuti area near to thamal. Rooms are very clean. Prices are torist friendly.
