  It's a amazing experience of mine to stay here in hotel florid. It's my second time that i m here. I have already been here 2 months back. That was also splendid experience . That's the reason I m again here in this hotel. Staff is so supportive and helpful . They are all very diligent and spernous. They all are very civilized . They know very well how to treat a guest . The manager of this hotel ( Deepak panday) He is superior , very friendly behave of him towards guests. He is a gentle guy. He very well knows how to manage all work. His behave is towards his staff is also so polite. No arrogancy. No bossy attitude. There is also one from staff ( Bimal) who is also a staff member of hotel florid. Very sweet guy and he does his work with persevance. And if i talk about rooms and environment of hotel florid my words will b fallen a short. Environment is so mildness and rooms are bigger and sunny side ensuite bathrooms well cleaned with fragrance . Especially In a winter season through the window straightly sun light came. Which is good to take sun bath. Each and every day they provide house keeping. House keepers are also work with determination. In the rear of hotel they have a beautiful tropical paradise with lots of plants . They hv a beautiful garden over there. They hv a almost strength of 50 to 60 people can hv food there . I m fully satisfied with the service of hotel florid. I feel homely here. Atmosphere is awesome. I couldn't get that type of service from any other hotel. and here I m getting friendly behave and a best treatment with all gud services. That's why it's been last 1 month I m here and I wanna stay more long. I would like to recommend u personally if u are in Kathmandu in thamel then don't forget to visit at hotel florid

  Would stay again for the location only. The rooms are not that nice. They usually have a tv in them - but that doesn’t mean that it actually works. I had to move the tv and the table around just so I could get it working. Bathroom is okay with hot water all day. Everything is noisy around the hotel, so don’t expect to be able to rest during the day or early in the evening. WiFi is available but not working that well.

  Best thing about Florid is their unlimited helpful attitude. We had a tragic accident there and the entire staff put tremendous effort specially Dipak, he is a true gentleman and a good friend.

  Amazing location, at first Kathmandu was confusing with its winding and twisting road system. But the Hotel Florid is near the heart of Thamel district, it made it a breeze to get out and explore.
  The rooms are from extremely new and modern to more of a traditional large room. All floors above 1 have insuite bathrooms, the rooms are nice sized (I stayed in the modern room the first couple nights, then a single occupancy (double bed) room, to the double and single bed traditional room. All were comfortable, clean, and most of all the restaurant in the rear was a tropical paradise with beautiful plants and great food.

  Stayed before and after my trek with Green Valley. Very well run and clean. Courteous and helpful staff and delicious well priced Nepalese food.

  Stayed pre & post trekking. Very well run hotel. All staff are friendly & competent - front desk, manager, waiter, etc. Excellent price for decent rooms. The garden restaurant attached to the hotel is a real gem.

  Hotel is centrally located. Good friendly staffs. Rooms are clean. Toilets are bit congested but well equipped. Excellent restaurant environment. Good wifi in rooms and restaurant. Good value for money.
