Ultimate place to stay / cooperative staff worth for money

The room were clean and comfortable, as was the entire hotel. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. Considering that it is in the heart of Thamul, it was fairly quiet in the rooms. The breakfast buffet was included and had a solid offering (with eggs, ham, potatoes, porridge, fruits, etc). Bathrooms are the only downside, but certainly not terrible.

In total we stayed for four nights in three different rooms and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful during the entire stay. There is a huge difference between the rooms regarding design, appearance and equipment. Unfortunatelly, all rooms are not very quite, but that's part of the fun in Kathmandu. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Thanks a lot for the airport shuttle.

Location within Thamel is excellent. Very convenient to go to eating and shopping places. Service is good and the room is clean. Shower is reasonably ok with heater.

Really glad we got to stay here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Upon our arrival they gave us tea and the WiFi password which was the perfect welcome and break after arriving from the airport and going through the bustling streets. The front desk can exchange money and answer any questions. As well, there is a free breakfast buffet and rooftop patio to enjoy. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

It is in side the Thamel. Very easy to move aroud. As a turist the room and the food alway comes first. And we feel so comfortable here with their good servive.

I don’t usually write these but I can’t help but praise this hotel for its location, cleanliness and above all service. I always felt that the staff would go above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I look forward to staying with them again in the future!

Kathmandu eco hotel it's in main heart of thamel where we can see a lot of suviniour around and also restaurant close by, I have stayed only one night due to my short holiday but I am happy to staying there for night because of great service with friendly staff.

Kathmandu eco hotel is the best hotel you will find in town! Service is really friendly and the design of the hotel is an experience of Nepal itself. I also recommend using their service such as arrangement of trips because they give the best advise as well as value! A must stay if your thinking of going to Kathmandu

Nice place to stay at Thamel Area. But, there is no Lift/Elevator available in the Hotel. You would enjoy excellent breakfast there.

If you are visiting Kathmandu Nepal, I highly recommend your first accommodation be the Eco Hotel. Besides having clean spacious and lovely rooms, all the staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. It is easy to feel lost in such a big city like Kathmandu but at the Eco Hotel, I found all these worries were quickly taken away. They will help you with anywhere you need to go or anything you need. They will organise it all. They even worked out a trekking adventure that has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. When I visit Kathmandu again I will be back to the Eco Hotel and u suggest you do as well.

Stopped here for a coffee and a snack on the way. It was good for a short stop. Seems to be a favourite of the tourist as it was full of foreigners.

That was a great experience here ., I recommend this hotel to everyone.,it's the perfect location just in the heart of the city and very friendly helpful stuff.,room is amazing big clean and on the Main Street.

My guests almost time love to stay at Kathmandu Eco Hotel at Thamel. I came to know that all owners and staffs are very friendly over here. They do have nice WiFi and always hot water. Their restaurant provides delicious and hygienic foods. Very strongly recommended

I've been staying there twice, while I got to Nepal before the Annapurna trek and 2 nights before I left Nepal after 3 wonderful weeks.
The hotel has a warm atmosphere, good restaurant with tasty food, the bed was a bit on the hard side, but in generally it was OK.
The wifi signal was so so, also the hot water was almost always available, but we are in Nepal, not the Alps ☺️.
Its very nice to spend some chilly evenings on the roof.
