A place where they take care of Stray Dogs of Kathmandu Streets. The dogs here have a special affinity with humans. Dogs are tended by adequate volunteers and hence get required care. One can just visit by here. Staff is very friendly. One can visit the shelter if one is thinking of adopting a puppy.

Last few months before I went with friends to ask them help Leo( German Shepherd) who was neglected by his owner and was really sick. So we went there, but they don't take breed dog, luckily they accept leo but he pass away that very night. I met with other Street dogs there who were rescued and treat well. I am very happy and want to thank all of them!

They euthanize sick dogs rather than providing care and treatment! Its all lies dont trust them. They're more focused on euthanizing rather than caring and providing treatment for sick dogs!

I could personally witness how hard they work to treat and sterilize street dogs. So glad to see such hearted organization helping these poor fellows. May God bless you!

Volunteering at Kat Center was a life changing experience. They are doing amazing work. The new location is very pleasant up in the foothills. The house is very nice to stay on property for volunteers. The staff are dedicated and loyal. The community appreciates and supports the Kat Centers Efforts. I saw many dogs that were vaccinated or rehabilitated and sterilized to help reduce animal over population. The only thing that would be an improvement would be more financial support as they operate with very minimal resources. However, all dogs are well cared for. It was an honor to be a part of this organization. They really need medical supplies and more volunteer vets to help bring resources and raise awareness. You will feel like you made a difference and you life will be forever changed for the better. Also the dogs at this center are the sweetest most grateful animals I have ever met. The smallest kindness has them literally at your feet with gratitude. Street dogs are superior to pure breed dogs because of survival of the fittest. Life on the streets of Nepal is only possible for the smartest and most genetically superior animals. If you want a really strong and street smart dog that has almost human like attributes adopt a fully vaccinated, sterilized healthy dog from the Kat Center. It will be one of the best decisions you've ever made. They have a few awesome cats as well for the kitty lovers. Not many cats at all in Nepal so the ones at Kat are very special..
