Fantastic views of Mt Everest can be seen from the summit of the black rock. Equally amazing views of Pumori ( the unmarried daughter in Nepali ) can be viewed in the opposite direction.

The best view in Sikkim's vicinity. Do not miss this. Taxi drivers generally take to this place when given 250 Rs extra. Get snow boots to play conveniently in the snow clad mountains. If lucky you can see the snow-water falls.

Infinite ascent from Gorak Shep might degrade your hope and stamina, but once you reach the top, Mt Everest’s incredible view will appear before your eyes, along with 360-degree view of other mountains such as Pumori.

A good view point for Everest and other ranges surrounding Everest. It's ok to do it during afternoon or in morning..both sunrise and sunset are awesome.i personally prefer sunset ,in a clear day one could see setting sun performs light play on the Everest. although it's windy during afternoon it's worth it It won't be light play on Everest during sunrise but it will good with mist and light play on other mountain around
