Stayed for 2 weeks with a group. I loved everything about my stay. The lovely owners (Rajani who made us the traditional meal from her area in the mountains), to the sweet staff at the dinning area who took care of me when I was unwell, the sweet ladies who cleaned our rooms beautifully, the amazing chefs. Was very sad to say goodbye to such amazing people. Thank you so much for giving me such beautiful memories to take home with me

My brother and I loved the International Guest House! I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It has beautiful Newari architecture. I felt like we were staying in a museum. I will stay here every time I visit Nepal.

I tried booking several rooms after seeing the reviews on tripadvisor. When I called this hotel, they told me that they don't allow Nepalese people to stay at their hotel. When I explained we were coming from abroad and needed somewhere to stay in Kathmandu, they still refused to give us a room. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have dealt with a great deal of racism living abroad but it's all the more hurtful being treated this way by your own people.

Beautiful garden. Breakfast at the morning in this garden was the right start into the day. Also in the evening this is a good place for dinner and one or two nepalese beer.
