Only the reception has 🐝 worked upon.

Seen big rats in corridors. No basic toiletries in bath.

Poor room ambience.
It is just a 2 star hotel.

I am travel enthusiast from Delhi and I had recently planned a solo trip to Nepal. I had booked my accommodation at Hotel Vaishali, which is located in the thamel area of Kathmandu. My stay at this property was excellent. This property offers various facilities which includes a fully equipped bar and a swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and updated with all modern day amenities. I found the staff to be exceptionally hospitable and had arranged for my entire travel throughout Nepal. Plus the location is excellent with the best bars and cafes located at a half minute distance from the hotel. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel for family and travellers alike.

Its a beautiful hotel. The environment is so peaceful and the interior architecture fascinating and reflex the beauty of Nepal. The rooms are neat and clean, dishes are tasty and staffs are friendly.

The hotels location is convenient for taxis and also right in the middle of Thamel. The lobby and restaurant area are lovely and the room was very comfortable. The shower and the heating control in the room was a nice I went in Feb when it was decent cold at night, so I really enjoyed turning the heating up. The bed was also comfortable and staff friendly and helpful

Very good rooms it was well cleaned we took the suite and it was ideal, the staff was very polite and was always happy to help, the buffet breakfast was good, i tried eggs to order and they were made perfectly, the hotel is centrally located in thamel so shopping there was fan as everything was at a walking distance.

Centrally located. But recently some restrictions on vehicle movement & hence has to walk down leaving the car, a hassle with luggage. Good ambience & decent rooms. Good food too.

Very good place to stay, usually out of my price range but I stayed on a group tour. Spacious, clean rooms, a bit noisy as they are replacing the bathrooms. Good breakfast, nice pool and good WiFi in the rooms. Very pleasant and helpful staff, would definitely recommend. In an area surrounded by shops, bars etc but quiet as it is set back a bit.

A very quiet place to stay in Thamel. Staffs are very friendly and cooperative. Food is excellent. Rooms are comfortable. Would definitely recommend it.

Dirty hotel, the lift is a death trap and it's mostly occupied by cheap uncivilized people. Don't stay here if you can afford better place.

Used to be one of the good star hotels in K-Town! With bad management, the hotel is losing its value.

Nice hotel. Very good food. WiFi is not in every room. I had a problem with mine so I ask the staff to change the room - there was no problem. Unfortunatelly it took a while because one of the man at the reception desk was pretending not to see me. Then, by accinent, I run into a very nice lady that takes care of the wellbeing of quests and she solved my problem in no time. I don't know what why the mas treated me as if I didn't existed but it was really rude of him. He stood next to me and did nothing after I told him my problem.

Great Hotel! Myself and 5 friends recently stayed at Hotel Vaishali, everything very good. Staff were friendly and nearly everyone spoke English. Rooms were clean and of a good standard. We have previously stayed at a similar hotel and by comparison Vaishali shone out. Breakfast was excellent.The only negative the showers were hot in the morning and cool in the afternoon.
